1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. For the purposes of this Notice, the following terms shall be held to mean:
1.1.1. Archiopedia: Archiopedia and Archiopedia’s Repository (with domain names https://www.archiopedia.org/ and https://repository.archiopedia.org/ respectively).
1.1.2. Author: any person or group of persons that creates a work.
1.1.3. Content: the sum of elements contained in Archiopedia.
1.1.4. interact:
(i) read and copy,
(ii) reproduce and store in any form, by any electronic storage or retrieval system or any other means, now known or hereafter invented (including downloading, saving on disk, printing and reprinting, photocopying, recording or broadcasting),
(iii) search, crawl, and index,
(iv) create and distribute hyperlinks to the work.
1.1.5. online: on the Internet and the World Wide Web, including any other present or future information systems and networks developed to supplement or replace the Internet or World Wide Web, or machines designed to support data migration.
1.1.6. Publisher: the Publisher and their appointees (especially the Editorial Team).
1.1.7. publish: publish, copy, distribute, communicate, and transmit.
1.1.8. User: any person with access to the Content.
1.1.9. work:
(i) any entry, database, part of database, or any other material created by the Author and contributed to the Publisher, or
(ii) any insignificantly altered version of the aforementioned (including their partial publication or their incorporation into a larger creation).

1.1.6. Publisher: the Publisher and their appointees (especially the Editorial Team).

1.1.8. User: any person with access to the Content.
1.1.9. work:
(i) any entry, database, part of database, or any other material created by the Author and contributed to the Publisher, or
(ii) any insignificantly altered version of the aforementioned (including their partial publication or their incorporation into a larger creation).
2. GENERALITIES
2.1.1. The law applicable to the terms of this Notice is the law of Hellenic Republic and any dispute that may arise out of them, may only be brought in a competent court located in Athens, Greece.
2.1.2. Failure to enforce the terms of this Notice does not constitute a waiver.
2.1.3. Any otherwise legal action not explicitly allowed in the terms of this Notice can be permitted by priorly obtaining the written permission of the copyright holder.
2.2. The Publisher holds the copyright and related rights of Archiopedia.
2.3.1. The Publisher has the right to amend the terms of this Notice.
2.3.2. The Author has the right to be notified about any amendments to the terms of this Notice.
2.3.3. The Publisher and the Author are responsible for updating their contact information.
2.1.2. Failure to enforce the terms of this Notice does not constitute a waiver.
2.1.3. Any otherwise legal action not explicitly allowed in the terms of this Notice can be permitted by priorly obtaining the written permission of the copyright holder.
2.2. The Publisher holds the copyright and related rights of Archiopedia.
2.3.1. The Publisher has the right to amend the terms of this Notice.
2.3.2. The Author has the right to be notified about any amendments to the terms of this Notice.
2.3.3. The Publisher and the Author are responsible for updating their contact information.
3. PUBLISHER AND AUTHOR
3.1. The Author retains the economic and moral rights to their work, as well as every other right not expressly granted to the Publisher (including the right to publish their work in other media).
3.2. The Author grants to the Publisher a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, non-commercial, worldwide license to:
(i) publish their work online.
(ii) modify their work in a non-invasive manner (including the right to introduce stylistic changes in form and content, decide the title and the forms under which to publish the work, add hyperlinks to specific passages, or subjoin the work of a different Author [especially a rejoinder or an image]).
(iii) create, modify and publish derivative works from their original one (including translating any original or derivative work into any and all language).
(iv) in the case of a database, add, remove, and rearrange data (produced either by the creator of the database or by a different Author).
(v) connect the work with the relevant metadata.
3.3. The Author must explicitly acknowledge Archiopedia as the main locus of publication for their work in every other print or online publication of it (including republications and, if possible, past publications).
3.2. The Author grants to the Publisher a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, non-commercial, worldwide license to:
(i) publish their work online.
(ii) modify their work in a non-invasive manner (including the right to introduce stylistic changes in form and content, decide the title and the forms under which to publish the work, add hyperlinks to specific passages, or subjoin the work of a different Author [especially a rejoinder or an image]).
(iii) create, modify and publish derivative works from their original one (including translating any original or derivative work into any and all language).
(iv) in the case of a database, add, remove, and rearrange data (produced either by the creator of the database or by a different Author).
(v) connect the work with the relevant metadata.
3.3. The Author must explicitly acknowledge Archiopedia as the main locus of publication for their work in every other print or online publication of it (including republications and, if possible, past publications).
4. PUBLICATION PROCESS
4.1.1. The Publisher publishes solicited or unsolicited works or revisions of these works, or remove the aforementioned works after their publication, provided that the publication or removal request has been reviewed and approved by the Editorial Team.
4.1.2. The Author has the right to revise their work after its publication.
4.2. The Author is notified of the publication or removal of their work at least twenty four (24) hours in advance.
4.3. The Author has the right to withdraw his work or object to any aspect of its publication at any time until four (4) days after its publication.
4.4. The Publisher does not charge the Author a publication fee.
4.1.2. The Author has the right to revise their work after its publication.
4.2. The Author is notified of the publication or removal of their work at least twenty four (24) hours in advance.
4.3. The Author has the right to withdraw his work or object to any aspect of its publication at any time until four (4) days after its publication.
4.4. The Publisher does not charge the Author a publication fee.
5. USER
5.1. The Publisher grants the User a royalty-free license to:
(i) interact with the Content for personal use only.
(ii) distribute the Content to electronic devices owned and controlled by them, or to other persons only for non-commercial purposes and solely through their private correspondence (provided that the number of addressees does not exceed a limit of ten [10] individuals per chronically and spatially distinct correspondence).
(iii) contact the Publisher or request to directly contact the Author with corrections or other suggestions.
(i) interact with the Content for personal use only.
(ii) distribute the Content to electronic devices owned and controlled by them, or to other persons only for non-commercial purposes and solely through their private correspondence (provided that the number of addressees does not exceed a limit of ten [10] individuals per chronically and spatially distinct correspondence).
(iii) contact the Publisher or request to directly contact the Author with corrections or other suggestions.
6. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
6.1.1. The Publisher (and any other person legally connected to them) is not liable for any issue arising from services offered or terms and conditions used by external providers (including Weebly Inc. and Miraheze Ltd, or any other parent or subsidiary company).
6.1.2. Nothing in Archiopedia shall be construed as professional or expert advice, or as any kind of proposal or recommendation of creating a legal bond between the Publisher and any other person, besides the ones agreed by the terms of this Notice.
6.1.3. The views and opinions expressed in any work attributed to an Author belong solely to them and do not necessarily reflect the personal views or the official positions of the Publisher or any other person associated with Archiopedia.
6.1.4. The Author indemnifies the Publisher (and any other person legally connected to them), by holding them harmless and granting them immunity from all liability (including indirect damages or costs, and lawyer’s fees) arising from the Author’s work or from any material linked to it (including any claim of copyright infrigement, libel, or any other purported violations in connection with the work).
6.2. Takedown Policy. The Publisher addresses any copyright issues and removes in due time any infringing content upon notice and request by a copyright holder.
6.1.2. Nothing in Archiopedia shall be construed as professional or expert advice, or as any kind of proposal or recommendation of creating a legal bond between the Publisher and any other person, besides the ones agreed by the terms of this Notice.
